Two things to get right

This is for white and light-coloured oiled floors. It is not for lacquered, sealed or raw timber, which are cared for differently. If you are not sure of your finish, test a small, hidden area first.

Oil-soaked cloths and pads can heat up and catch fire on their own. As with any drying oil, submerge used cloths in water straight after use, and do not leave them screwed up in a bin.
