Bona Wood Floor Refresher is a ready-to-use treatment for varnished and lacquered timber floors that are looking scratched or dull. Bona describes it as reviving the surface and leaving a fresh, high-gloss finish, with a protective layer against everyday wear.
It is polyurethane-based, without waxes, and is made for finished (sealed) timber floors. It is simple to apply with a Bona Applicator Pad, and covers about 50m² per litre.

Bona Wood Floor Refresher is made for lacquered and varnished floors, and it leaves a high-gloss finish, so it is not for a matt look, and not for oiled or waxed floors.
If you are not sure what finish your floor has, or want to check the sheen, test on a small, out-of-the-way patch and let it dry before doing the whole floor. Ask us if you are unsure.

Bona states touch dry in 30 to 60 minutes, and recoatable after 2 hours. Keep furniture and rugs off until it has cured.
How to use
Clean, apply, then let it cure
- Clean the floor first. Clean the whole floor with a wood floor cleaner and let it dry, so no dirt is trapped under the coat.
- Shake the bottle well.
- Apply a thin, even coat with a Bona Applicator Pad, working with the grain. Do not over-apply.
- Let it touch dry for 30 to 60 minutes.
- A second coat can be applied after 2 hours, if needed.
Application follows Bona's guidance. Clean the floor first (Bona Wood Floor Cleaner or FirstFloor Concentrate). Timings are Bona's.

Do
- Clean and dry the floor first, so nothing is trapped under the coat.
- Apply thin, even coats with a Bona Applicator Pad, along the grain.
- To remove old build-up before recoating, use a hard-floor cleaner first.
Don't
- Use it on an oiled or waxed floor, it is for lacquered and varnished floors.
- Use it if you want a matt look, it leaves a high gloss.
- Over-apply, walk on it before it is dry, or recoat sooner than 2 hours.
